<p>AbstractTuberculosis (TB) and diabetes mellitus (DM) overlapping burden is now a growing clinical problem , complicating both early diagnosis and effective treatment. Diabetes increases the risk of TB disease and may worsen clinical outcomes, making early recognition essential. ¹,²,³ Because symptoms may be atypical and standard tests may be less straightforward in some patients; a high index of suspicion and integrated screening are important. ⁴,⁵Keywords: tuberculosis; diabetes mellitus; diagnostic dilemma; screening; glycemic control; comorbidity.</p>
